Craig has closed over $4 billion in commercial real estate transactions including over $400 million of self-storage. Prior to co-founding Newcoast, Craig was an Executive Director at PGIM Real Estate. Craig led originations for PGIM’s Chicago office covering clients based in the Midwest and Canada. Prior to joining PGIM, Craig worked for GE Capital Real Estate in the US and Europe focusing on both debt and equity.

Craig earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in finance and economics. Craig earned a BA in Finance from Loyola University in Maryland. Craig is active in ULI, NAIOP, and has been a featured speaker for the Self Storage Association.

Mike has closed over 600 properties in seven asset classes. Prior to co-founding Newcoast, Mike was Managing Director of Acquisitions & Growth at Elmdale Partners. He acquired over 1.3 mm square feet of storage under the StorSafe brand and contributed to the team’s operations, capital raising, and overall strategy efforts. Prior to Elmdale, Mike led acquisitions for American Postal Infrastructure and was Vice President of Acquisitions at Westminster Capital. He started his real estate career as an Analyst at Miller Capital Advisory in the Acquisitions group.

Mike earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mike is active in the SSA, ISS, and Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.

Jack Potts is a seasoned financial executive with more than 30 years of leadership in the real estate industry. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for institutional and entrepreneurial real estate investment platforms, with direct oversight of accounting, treasury, capital markets, compliance, and investor relations. His experience spans the full spectrum of real estate asset classes — including office, retail, multi-family, hospitality, and student housing — as well as publicly traded REITs, private equity-backed platforms, and corporate M&A. He has originated and structured debt across construction, bridge, and permanent financing through multiple market cycles, building long-term relationships with banks, life companies, and agency lenders. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Jack brings board-level perspective, deep capital markets expertise, and a proven ability to build and scale finance organizations to the clients he advises.

As Vice President of Acquisitions, Shawn plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy through the identification and development of value-add opportunities. Prior to joining Newcoast, Shawn was Vice President of Acquisitions at American Postal Infrastructure, where he showcased his exceptional ability to source both single assets and portfolios. With over 20 years of experience in corporate sales, Shawn has consistently demonstrated his strategic acumen and leadership. Renowned for his integrity, honesty, and dynamic energy, he is a driving force behind the team’s success and innovation.

Shawn earned a BA in Marketing from North Central College.

Myles has closed $396 million of commercial real estate transactions across four asset classes. Prior to joining Newcoast Real Estate, Myles was an Investment Analyst at PGIM Real Estate, where he assisted the U.S. Debt Originations team by underwriting and reviewing commercial mortgage opportunities across all major capital sources and property types throughout the United States. Myles will play a key role in facilitating the acquisitions and development process at Newcoast Real Estate.

Myles earned a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
